Day 10: Early morning visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple and receive Sekhmet initiation at her chapel. Evening free to explore Luxor's market, museum and sites.

Day 11: Drive through the beautiful countryside of Egypt to Abydos and the ancient Osirion to view the most beautiful reliefs in Egypt. This is also where you will see the "flower of life". Visit the temple at Dendera, exquisite temple dedicated to Hathor, the goddess of love and joy.

Day 12: Leisure day to explore Luxor and return to any sites that need further exploring.

Day 13: Morning flight to Cairo and check into the Mena House & lunch at the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

Day 14: Visit the famed Egyptian Museum.


Day 15: Private visit to the Great Pyramid with culminating initiation in the King's Chamber. Free time for shopping before farewell dinner.

Day 16: Morning flight departs from Cairo for NYC.

Egypt Itinerary – Fall 2008

Day 1: Depart for Cairo.

Day 2: Arrive in Cairo, relax and acclimate.

Day 3: Tour of pyramid at Giza complex, starting initiation with a journey to the Sphinx.

Day 4: Visit step pyramid at Sakkara for the first rite of passage in the huge temple complex from the Old Kingdom. Overnight train to Aswan.

Day 5: Visit Nubian Museum and shop at the Aswan market. Afternoon sail to Elephantine Island for rite of empowerment at the Temple of Khnum.

Day 6: Morning initiation to Isis at her island temple at Philae. Check into our boats for our sail down the Nile.

Day 7: Free morning in Aswan. This afternoon sail to Kom Ombo and visit the temple of Sobek and Horus bringing together the forces of dark and light. Sail to Edfu

Day 8: Early morning at Edfu, the Temple of Horus. Sail to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes that was the capital of Egypt during its peak

Day 9: Visit the necropolis of Thebes, on the west bank of the Nile and explore the tombs of pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, and the mortuary temples at Medinet Habu and Deir El-Bahari (the temple of Queen Hatshepsut). Afternoon sail to Qena, with time to relax.
