energy workers; anyone interested in increasing personal power, consciousness, perception and the ability to manage energy.

The Art of the Chunpi Paqo has always been considered a special skill by the Andean Practitioners in the Q’ero (Inka) communities.  According to the stories told to Juan’s father, when none of the indigenous healers were able to restore health to a sick person, the Chunpi Paqo was summoned to perform his energy belt rituals and the person was healed.

Valerie was initiated in 1999 by Juan Nunez del Prado, who is possibly the only practicing Chunpi Paqo in the Andes today. Juan was the only white man ever to be invited to be a student in the Q’ero mystical training school of Don Andreas Espinosa, one of the most prominent Q’ero Masters in recent history. Juan ‘recovered’ and is now the ‘keeper’ of this ancient practice; he is the Master who initiated all who keep alive the healing art today.

Prerequisite: Introduction to Andean Mysticism or any equivalent course by Valerie, Stephen, Juan Nunez del Prado or Elizabeth Jenkins

Art of Chunpi Paqo (Level 2)
Weaving the Belts of Power

For the student who has completed the Intro to Andean Mysticism, exploring the ‘right side’ of Andean Path, emphasizing the rational, and mystical aspect of the spiritual art (Yachay), comes this powerful workshop, bridging the two aspects - right (masculine) and left (feminine) sides of the Andean Path. This course emphasizes development of the love and will (Munay) as a catalyzer or instrument of transition between these two aspects of the tradition.

Learn the skills of the Chunpi Paqo, the Master of Living Energy Belts.  Each participant will be initiated into the art of activating and weaving the energy centers in the body in a harmonious way, with the intent to open ‘all’ eyes of energy for profound perception of self and others.  In the Intro class you learned to work with energy centers through the use of the four elements - water, earth, fire and air. In this course you learn to work with the stones of power -mullu khuyas allowing participants to practice the healing art on each other. The result is a deepening relationship with your ability to perceive the ‘unseen worlds’; fine tuning consciousness for the quickened development of personal power.

The Chunpi Paqo is the “Master of Energy Belts”. The initiate in this ritual is a candidate for the highest level of mastery in the Andean Tradition; based on the teachings of Juan’s late Q’ero master Don Andreas Espinosa.  Skills in energetic mastery; wonderful for healers,
